South Korean pop star Taeyang collaborates with Italian fashion house Fendi

02:37
(27 Jul 2017) SOUTH KOREAN POP STAR TAEYANG COLLABORATES WITH ITALIAN FASHION HOUSE FENDI South Korean pop star Taeyang was in Hong Kong Thursday (27 JULY) to promote the collection he designed for Italian fashion house Fendi. The capsule collection, called "FENDI for Young Bae" uses Taeyang's real name - Dong Young-bae instead of his stage name. The collection includes t-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories designed with Taeyang's favorite color – black - with words or images that are inspiring to the artist, such as "grace," "faith," and "passion." The 29-year-old singer attended Thursday's event wearing pieces from the collection. A large crowd of fans and onlookers gathered at the store to get a glimpse of the star. This is Taeyang's first time working as a fashion designer. He said that he worked closely with the brand for three to four months to produce the collection and thoroughly enjoyed the process. "I worked closely with Silvia Fendi (creative director). The people at Fendi really listened and took to my ideas. It's a wonderful collaboration and a great experience," said Taeyang. Taeyang is a member of the widely popular South Korean boyband "BIGBANG." While his bandmate, T.O.P, has been in the news recently because of drug related charges, Taeyang is focusing on expanding his solo career. He recently kicked off the "White Night World Tour" in Japan and plans to take his show to US and Canada later this year. He revealed plans for his next solo album, "My solo album is nearly finished. This August, I will be able to present to you a new look and new songs," the singer said. In addition to a busy solo career, Taeyang is also the honory ambassador for next year's Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. The pop star said that it's a huge honor for him and his parents who are huge fans of the Winter Olympic Games. For the next few months, he'll be working on writing songs for the game, "I'm a singer, so I will use my musical talent to write songs to cheer on the athletes to show my support," Taeyang said. The "FENDI for Young Bae" collection is in Fendi stores now in Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau, Malaysia and Australia. Style tips to steal from the Italian woman. A unique and captivating take on personal style.

06:12
Wearing everything from bold statement pieces to minimalistic silhouettes, Italian women have a unique and captivating take on personal style. The Italian women always look put-together, even when they're just heading to the grocery store. To get the look, you need a chic pair of stilettos, a well tailored dress or a pair of pants, with the just right amount of femininity in the form of a deep V neck, topped with a blazer or a structured jacket, 2:16. Italian women’s wardrobes are based on a set of wardrobe essentials that are made with high quality materials. Anything made with natural fibers such as silk, linen, cotton, merino wool or cashmere is a wardrobe staple. Femininity is also an important aspect of the Italian style. Are you proud of your cleavage? Flaunt it. Great legs? Show them off. The key is to emphasize the parts of your body you're most comfortable with. You can be sexy and feminine with just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. The key is emphasizing your curves, 3:05. Italian women accessorize. It's good to remember the little details. Always commit to your accessories, i.e never leave the house without a scarf, designer sunglasses, chunky bracelets, bib necklaces, drop earrings, a headband 4:45, anything that will set you apart. And finally, the Italian women like having fun and express their personal style. Love the lady's outfit at 4:54. Animal print top with metallic shoes....Sequins, glitter and gemstones are very much a part of any Italian woman’s wardrobe. Whether they’re wearing a sequin skirt, glitter shoes, or a statement necklace, they try to balance them with neutral basics such as a pair of jeans. Enjoy the looks from Rome’s fashionable streets and have a wonderful weekend. How to refresh you fall wardrobe? Ferre catwalk 'HOMME COUTURE' FROM FERRE Monday afternoon (26th June 2006) at Milan Fashion week, architect-turned-designer Gianfranco Ferre presented his masculine view of Spring/Summer fashion 2007 aptly titled "Homme Couture". This season's Ferre man has a casual cool, dressed in natural materials of crepe and cottons. The colour palette reflected the lightness of fabric with stone and metallic tones punctuated with kangaroo, crocodile and snakeskin. Ferre is renowned for his evolutionary style rather than radical changes in design. In recent seasons he has spiced up his classic look with an overtly sexy edge but this collection saw a return to the fine tailoring which made him his name in the 1980s. GUCCI / ITALIAN FASHION / GIRLS DESIGNER GUIDES

09:50
The story of the House of Gucci. They mastered the art of branding, line extensions, retail experiences, and product licensing strategies. Italian designers have sailed forth from their native shores like the explorers of old to conquer much of the new world with their coveted treasures and shiny retail palazzos. They have infiltrated the dream factories of Hollywood and now their names are as ubiquitous on the red carpets as on the Milan runways. Born from humble beginnings in Florence’s 1921, Gucci’s first incarnation was a small, family-owned saddlery shop. Its focus was on leather goods for the fine horseman: saddles, boots gloves and saddlebags. Founder Guccio Gucci (1881-1953) was inspired by the luxurious luggage of travelling Parisians whilst living abroad and soon turned the business’s attention to fine leather goods with classic styling. Although Gucci organised his workrooms for industrial methods of production, he maintained traditional aspects of fabrication. Initially, Gucci employed skilled workers in basic Florentine leather crafts, attentive to finishing. With expansion, machine stitching was a production method that supported construction. Fashion is a distinctive and often habitual trend in the style in which a person dresses. It is the prevailing styles in behaviour and the newest creations of textile designers. Because the more technical term costume is regularly linked to the term "fashion", the use of the former has been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while "fashion" generally means clothing, including the study of it. SOUNDBITE (Mandarin) Ouyang Kun, Chief Representative in China of World Luxury Association: "Right now, Italian luxury brands are experiencing their most robust growth in China compared with the rest of the world. It is because China will become the world's largest consumer market for luxury goods and because it is easier to trade luxury stocks on the Hong Kong stock market that Prada is going forward with an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong. Prada will become a leader in the luxury industry to encourage other luxury brands to list themselves on the stock market in China." Hong Kong - 17 June 2011 15. Wide exterior of Prada store in Hong Kong 16. Close of sign reading (English) "Prada" 17. Mid of people walking in store in Hong Kong 18. Close-up of Prada's carrier bag Hong Kong - 24 June 2011 19. Close-up of Bovrisse 21. Close-up of placard reading (English) "Stop Listing Prada" STORYLINE: Prada has become the latest foreign company to list on the Hong Kong stock exchange. Shares of the Italian fashion house were nearly flat in their debut on Friday, amid lukewarm investor interest for the city's most glamorous IPO of the year. Prada shares gained as much as 50 cents, or 1.2 percent, to 40 Hong Kong dollars in the first hour of trading but by midday were changing hands at 39.55 dollars, just five cents higher than the offering price. The stock was widely expected to tank on its debut because of slumping global markets and worries from Hong Kong investors that they would have to pay Italian taxes. But while it didn't drop, it also failed to track gains in the broader Hong Kong market as the Hang Seng Index rose 1.3 percent. Milan-based Prada sold 423.3 (m) million shares, or a 16.5 percent stake, to raise 16.7 (b) billion Hong Kong dollars (2.1 (b) billion US dollars), in its initial public offering. The stock was priced at the low end of the offer range. Despite the lacklustre performance, Chief Executive Officer Patrizio Bertelli was upbeat at a listing ceremony. "We are positive that the Chinese market, Greater China is going to be the market of the future," he said. Prada, which also owns the Miu-Miu, Church's and Car Shoes brands, sold 95 percent of shares to big global investors. Hong Kong individual investors got the remaining 5 percent of shares, about half the usual proportion. Thursday (15 Sept. 2011), the Italian fashion house celebrated 20 Years in the country by presenting a special China inspired silk fashion collection. In China, Ermenegildo Zegna currently have 75 stores in 32 cities. According to Gildo Zegna, CEO and grandson of the founder of the Italian firm, China has become their top market in the world: "It is the most important market and we are the biggest player, in the men''s (fashion) for sure, and we are among the top five biggest players in global luxury in China," he said in a recent interview with the Associated Press. "So it is a challenge to keep the leadership. It means that the brand is well appreciated and that we have been doing some good things." Gildo Zegna says that early entrance has benefited the brand as it helped them understand the taste and capacity of Chinese consumers earlier than their competitors. It also gave them a chance to move into smaller, fast-growing cities. The numbers of millionaires is on rapid increase in China and this group of people is driving the sales of luxury goods. According to various statistics, China is projected to become the world''s biggest luxury market by 2020. To mark the firm''s success, Zegna has presented a fashion show which ended with a China-themed silk collection for Spring 2012. "I think it is going to be probably one of the biggest novelty for the season to come. When we did a show, as a matter of fact, most of the presentation of the fashion show in Italy was about silk," he said. Visit the online shop, click here: http://calozero.it/ Italian fashion; Italy is one of the leading countries in fashion design, alongside others such as France, USA, Great Britain and Japan. Fashion has always been an important part of the country's cultural life and society, and Italians are well known for their attention to dressing-up well; "la bella figura", or good impression, remains traditional in the Italian way of living. Italian design became prominent ever since the 11th-16th centuries, when artistic development in Italy was at its peak. Cities such as Venice, Milan, Florence and Vicenza started to produce luxury goods, hats, cosmetics, jewelry and rich fabrics. During the 17th-early 20th centuries, Italian fashion lost its importance and lustre, and Europe's main trendsetter became France, with the great popularity of French fashion; this is due to the luxury dresses which were designed for the courtiers of Louis XIV. However, since the 1951-53 fashion soirées held by Giovanni Battista Giorgini in Florence, the "Italian school" started to compete with the French haute couture, and labels such as Ferragamo and Gucci began to contend with Chanel and Dior. In 2009, according to the Global Language Monitor, Milan, Italy's center of design, was ranked the top fashion capital of the world, and Rome was ranked 4th, and, despite both cities fell down places in subsequent rankings, in 2011, Florence entered as the 31st world fashion capital. Milan is generally considered to be part of the "big four" global fashion capitals, which, aside from the Italian city, consist of New York City, Paris and London; occasionally, the "big five" also includes Rome. Examples of major Italian fashion houses are: Gucci, Armani, Emilio Pucci, Valentino, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo, Roberto Cavalli, Trussardi, Versace, Krizia, Etro, Miu Miu, Laura Biagiotti, Max Mara, Fendi, Moschino, Missoni, Bottega Veneta, Benetton and Brioni (fashion),to name a few. Italy also is home to many fashion magazines, such as Grazia, Vogue Italia, Amica, Flair, Gioia. Other Italian accessory and jewelry brands, such as Luxottica and Bulgari are amongst the most important in the world. Fashion in Italy started to become the most fashionable in Europe since the 11th century, and powerful cities of the time, such as Venice, Milan, Florence, Vicenza and Rome began to produce robes, jewelry, textiles, shoes, fabrics, ornaments and elaborate dresses.Italian fashion reached its peak during the Renaissance. As Italy is widely recognized as the cradle and birthplace of the Renaissance, art, music, education, finance and philosophy flourished, and along with it, Italian fashion designs became immensely popular (especially those worn by the Medicis in Florence. The fashions of Queen Catherine de' Medici of France, were considered amongst the most fashionable in Europe). Florence is regarded by some as the birthplace and earliest center of the modern (post World War Two) fashion industry in Italy. The Florentine "soirées" of the early 1950s organized by Giovanni Battista Giorgini were events where several now-famous Italian designers participated in group shows and first garnered international attention. Florence has served as the home of the Italian fashion company Salvatore Ferragamo since 1928. Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, and Emilio Pucci are also headquartered in Florence. Other major players in the fashion industry such as Prada and Chanel have large offices and stores in Florence or its outskirts. Florence's main upscale shopping street is Via de' Tornabuoni, where major luxury fashion houses and jewelry labels, such as Armani and Bulgari, have their elegant boutiques. Via del Parione and Via Roma are other streets that are also well-known for their high-end fashion stores. - Abbigliamento uomo donna autunno inverno primavera estate CALOZERO clothing Made in Italy giubbotti jackets clothes dress wear dressing Fashion Style Beauty Designer Collection Mode Modeling Vogue Role Dior Armani Dolce Designers Boutique Jeans Pants Boots Tight Outfit Flash Dresses Modelling Fancy Jacket Hats Shorts Wearing Gloves Silk Shiny Dirty Satin Glasses Pink Wet Shoes Lace Outfits Coat Suit Shades Lycra Thigh Scarf Accessories Stocking Uniform Costume clothing clothes apparel dress wear attire dressing garb raiment array rig luxury CALOZERO clothing Made in Italy. - Abbigliamento uomo donna autunno inverno primavera estate CALOZERO clothing Made in Italy giubbotti jackets clothes dress wear dressing Fashion Style Beauty Designer Collection Mode Modeling Vogue Role Dior Armani Dolce Designers Boutique Jeans Pants Boots Tight Outfit Flash Dresses Modelling Fancy Jacket Hats Shorts Wearing Gloves Silk Shiny Dirty Satin Glasses Pink Wet Shoes Lace Outfits Coat Suit Shades Lycra Thigh Scarf Accessories Stocking Uniform Costume clothing clothes apparel dress wear attire dressing garb raiment array rig luxury Clothing Made in Italy.
